Pretty Good Year

We celebrated Miss Zoë's birthday with Grandma, Grandpa and Great Grandma. Cupcakes were a huge hit, as you can see here. Birthday Party Part Deux is this weekend. We're so proud of our punky girl, growing and changing every day.

Getting the photo archive together

Zoe's nearly 11 months now and with the big birthday nearing I'm ready to put together a photo album. It's about time. We marvel at how much she's grown, even from week to week. She's crawling around now, and you can tell she's just about ready to take the first steps by herself. I blinked my eyes and she grew from a helpless little bundle of joy to a beautiful and charismatic toddler.

3 weeks till the move

We're getting close to Move Out Day. There's still a lot of details to be worked out, but right now the focus is on packing. Zoë was playing on the floor yesterday which gave me time to pack one box full of dishes. One box a day is about all I can hope for! But every little bit helps.

And thank you to my Aunt Eileen in Massachusetts for sending us the Baby Monet dvd. Zoë is entranced every time we put it on, and it allows Mom and Dad to attend to our adult activities like eating and bathing and even creating blogs! The music's nice (Vivaldi's Four Seasons) and the puppets even make me laugh. Where can I get one of those puppets? Oh, sewing machine, if I only had an ounce of creativity left in me I'd drag you out and design my own puppets.
